I will want to hear about whether you have a site or are looking for a new one. Tell me about your competitors and what you like or don’t like about their sites. If you have any ideas about how you would like your site to look I’d love to hear that too.
Site content – the tedious bit
There is one aspect of the site that only you can do – write the content!! I realise that this is quite boring – no one likes writing it but you know your business best. I am happy to review it and make suggestions.
Domain name and hosting
If you don’t have a site we will also talk about getting a domain name and web site hosting (I am a Blacknight Solutions customer and like their Support but I can work with any hosting company)
Development Process – iterative
I will develop your site on my development web site. It is password protected and I will give you access. This is to allow you to see how the development is progressing and allow you to try it out and give early feedback. This avoids a situation where I put a lot of work in and you don’t like it.
I find that being able to try the site out makes it easier for me (and you) to articulate ideas.
