Brian Crinion, an accomplished triathle, was given my name by Rob Cummins of Wheelworx Bikes.

Brian wanted an easy-to-maintain site for Irish triathlon information. He was technically savvy and needed next-to-no training on using the web site's administration area. This is attributable to Wordpress' user friendly interface and to Brian's prior experience maintaining the Belpark Tri Club web site and being the Race Director/Google Groups manager for the Runways Dublin Duathlon Series.

Right from the launch of the site Brian had posted athlete interviews, training tips and filled in a massive triathlon race calendar.

I opted to base the site on Wordpress as Brian would be posting regular articles and this fit the blog format. I purchased a theme with excellent features (e.g. the slider on the home page) and modified numerous aspects of it for Brian's site.

I developed a custom plugin to automate some tasks to take advantage of the theme's features.
