Drivings Cool

Derek Dunphy, the owner of Drivings Cool, looked around for a local web site developer to work with. Derek had created a Learn To Drive DVD and wanted to see it through his web site. For Derek it was important to be able to meet and be able to trust the developer.

I met Derek and thoroughly explained the changes I would make (add a PayPal ‘Buy Now’ button to his web site), the emails that PayPal he would send and how to get his money from PayPal. I also advised Derek on using boards.ie to entice more visitors to his web site, specifically by contributing to the Learning to Drive forum.

A month later Derek asked me to add new pages to the site. As the site html was quite cumbersome I suggested that I redo the site’s html. I explained that such a change would make future site changes easier and it would help search engines ‘read’ the site. I used Blueprint CSS.
